(VOVworld) – Many people in Can Tho visited pagodas in the first day of the New Year to pray for all the best for their families and friends.

Vuong Kim Lau, a local resident, said that this habit is part of their spiritual lives: “It’s my habit to go to pagodas to wish for peace and good health for my family and success for my children.”

Tran Thien Tai of Ninh Kieu district said: “I hope that the New Year will bring happiness to all Vietnamese people and peace to the world.”
