(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang on Wednesday met former soldiers who joined the Vietnamese delegation known as liaison delegation 95 to help Laos and Cambodia from 1954 to 1975.

President Sang expressed his respect for the soldiers’ spirit to overcome difficulties and their sacrifices. He asked the Party Central Committee's Office, the Defense Ministry, and relevant agencies to increase coordination to address administrative issues relating to the search of the remains of soldiers who laid down their lives in Laos.

President Sang expressed his hope that the veterans will continue to uphold Vietnam’s revolutionary traditions and contribute more to the building of the Party and local administration.
