(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina held a workshop on late General Vo Nguyen Giap to mark the 70^th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army on December 22.

Speakers acknowledged that General Vo Nguyen Giap is an outstanding political, military strategists. His name was closely attached to the founding of the Vietnam’ Liberation Army and triumphant victories of the Vietnamese soldiers and people in the Ho Chi Minh era, particularly the Dien Bien Phu victory in 1954.
The participants expressed their respect for the unity, bravery, and sacrifice of Vietnamese people in national wars against foreign invaders and reviewed the solidarity of Argentinean and Vietnamese people in the war against the American troops.
