(VOVworld) – Voters nationwide expressed their confidence and unanimity in the Party and State’s policies to protect national sovereignty in accordance with the law. This was stated at a meeting between Politburo member, and member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat Le Hong Anh, and voters of Military Zone No. 9 on Wednesday. At the meeting, voters praised the outcomes of the just concluded National Assembly meeting, especially the release of a communique on Vietnam’s just position regarding its sovereignty in the East Sea. They proposed to the National Assembly, the government, and related ministries and agencies for stronger measures in corruption prevention while accelerating the national program on new rural development.

Regarding the East Sea issue, voters suggested Vietnam’s proper evaluations of China’s nature in order to have appropriate conducts. They also voiced their opinions to enhance the efficiency of the National Assembly and National Assembly delegations, as well as in issues of socio-economy, state budget, and national security and defense. Head of the National Assembly’s Can Tho City delegation Tran Thanh Man acknowledged opinions contributed by the voters and addressed a number of voters’ queries regarding the East Sea issue.
