VOV-hosted VR exhibition brings public back to sacred moment
(VOVWORLD) - The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) is inviting the public to journey back in time through a special virtual reality exhibition “Back to the Sacred Moment,” which recreates President Ho Chi Minh’s historic Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square in 1945.

Running from Tuesday to Wednesday at VOV’s headquarters, and from August 28 to September 5 at the Vietnam Exposition Centre in Hanoi, the event allows visitors to immerse themselves in a 360-degree virtual setting using Meta Quest VR headsets.
Participants can move freely, interact with the space, and even join the historic crowd of 80 years ago in shouting their oath to protect the nation.

“I was truly moved. It felt like I was standing right in the square, listening to Uncle Ho’s voice. When the crowd applauded, I clapped along. This program is so meaningful, helping us appreciate history. Tomorrow I will definitely bring my child here,” said a visitor.
Another added, “Despite the rain, I wanted to bring my children so they could relive this historic moment. Watching the 3D historical scenes was both moving and inspiring. As a Vietnamese, I felt very proud.”
