VOV President works with Radio Netherlands Training Center

(VOVWORLD) -President of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Do Tien Sy on Thursday proposed stronger cooperation between VOV and Radio Netherlands Training Center (RNTC) and asked RNTC to provide human resource training courses and strategic consulting for VOV which is in need of learning experience in digital transformation and AI media.

Mr. Sy had a working session with the RNTC in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on Thursday. RNTC, the internationally renowned training center of RNW Media, provides media training and capacity strengthening for social change.

An RNTC representative introduced the center’s strengths and new developments and pledged to work together with VOV in the near future to go ahead with  specialized training courses.

RNTC has had a long-standing relationship with VOV and provided scholarships to VOV reporters. From 1985 to 2008, the Dutch Training Center granted scholarships to dozens of reporters from VOV to take part in courses on current affairs, environment, program production, broadcast management, and broadcast journalism.

Earlier on Thursday, at a working session with Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands Ngo Huong Nam, VOV President Do Tien Sy proposed that the embassy increase cooperation with VOV and keep informing about the country, people and development of the Netherlands via VOV to meet the needs of people at home and abroad.
