VOV’s readers donate money to help repair vessel sunken by Chinese ships

(VOVworld) – The online newspaper of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the People’s Committee of Thanh Khe district, Da Nang city on Tuesday visited and presented 800 USD to the family of Huynh Thi Nhu Hoa, owner of fishing vessel Dna-90152, which was sunken by Chinese ships while operating on the Hoang Sa fishing ground.

The money was donated by VOV’s readers, those Vietnamese people who live and work in Magnhitogorsk, Cheliabinks in Russia. Many Russian friends and a Chinese person also donated money. Mrs. Huynh Thi Nhu Hoa, owner of the vessel says: “People at home and abroad have been sending us financial support over the last few days. I really appreciate their support. This greatly encourages us to continue fishing and contribute to protecting the Hoang Sa archipelago of Vietnam.”
