In 2020, the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the Club “For Beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos” have given 8,000 scholarships to children of ethnic minorities and islands. The Fund has mobilized 3.3 million USD from organizations and individuals.

The Club has provided 200 water tanks to people in saltwater intrusion  areas in Tien Giang province, helped central provinces ravaged by storms and floods, and awarded 1,200 scholarships to ethnic minority students.

Vietjet Air has provided free flights for children to return home on holidays.

The Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund - named after a young ethnic liaison boy who was killed during the French resistance war - was set up in 1999 by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to help poor ethnic students in their studies.

In 2014, the Fund established its “For Beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa” Club with the aim of offering assistance to naval soldiers and fishermen who are safeguarding the country’s sovereignty over its sea and islands.
