Workers in Tra Vinh province helped to have a warm Tet holiday
(VOVWORLD) - A "Tet Reunion" program and a Trade Union Tet market with 28 booths opened on Sunday at Long Đức Industrial Park in Tra Vinh city to help union members, workers, and people in difficult circumstances enjoy a warm Tet.

This year's program, sponsored by the Tra Vinh provincial Labor Federation, will give union members and workers 2,000 shopping vouchers worth 13 USD each, organize lucky draws, and provide free legal consultation and free haircuts as well as several discounts. Tra Vinh province also is handing out 600 gifts, each worth 21 USD, and three houses, each worth 6,400 USD, to disadvantaged workers.
Kim Thanh Can, a union member in Phu Can commune, said that he is glad that the Labor Federation organizes the Tet market and gives them vouchers.
“This year agencies at all levels have helped trade union members buy goods for Tet. We hope Tet markets like this one will continue to be organized, so workers can enjoy Tet,” said Can.
Since 2017, through the "Tet Reunion" program, the Tra Vinh provincial Labor Federation has given gifts worth a total of 85,000 USD to 2,500 union members and workers.
