(VOVWORLD) - Fifteen outstanding works on the theory and criticism of literature and arts in 2019 were honored at a ceremony in Hanoi on Wednesday.

The works covering literature, fine arts, photography, theater, cinema, and dance were praised for their contribution to the development of national culture.
VOV’s President Nguyen The Ky, Chairman of the Central Council for the Theory and Criticism of Literature and the Arts, said, “We hope that in the future the literary and art associations at central and local levels, writers, artists, theorists, critics, and the public will participate in and contribute more to the award."
Mr. Ky added, "The Council will continue to refine the rules so that the award will encourage more qualified works.”
