(VOVworld)- The Communist Party Review held a workshop on enhancing the prestige, role and responsibility of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Quang Ninh province on Wednesday.

The delegates discussed the leadership and rule of the Party as well as Party reform and building. They stressed that the Party rules the revolution, the state of the people, by the people and for the people and the whole political system to achieve the goal of national independence and socialism. They quoted President Ho Chi Minh’s statement that the Party and government are separate agencies with different functions and tasks, so it’s necessary to clarify the job of the agencies to achieve the ultimate goal of serving the people’s interests. The Party rules the State and is responsible before the people for the state’s performance. The Party rules the State in terms of guidelines through laws and the Party can’t stand outside law. They are the challenges that require the Party to renew its perceptions and fine-tune its ruling mechanism.
