(VOVworld) – A workshop on heritages and sustainable development took place on Thursday in Hue city to foster ties between French speaking areas in Southeast Asia.

The event was held by the International Association of Francophone Mayors. The Association Secretary Pierre Baillet expected a better connection between French speaking areas in Southeast Asia and other dynamic cities to share experience in urban heritages and sustainable development.

Chairman of the Hue municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thanh called the workshop a venue for French-speaking cities in Southeast Asia and other cities to meet and share experience in socio-economic development and culture. Participants discussed urban heritages, heritages and climate change, and heritages and social and technological initiatives.
