He told the Vietnam News Agency that Vietnam is implementing economic reforms that are expected to "change the game". Morisset said Vietnam’s economic picture in the past 10 years proves his statement, adding that the country’s economic growth has been second only to China. According to Morisset, Vietnam is one of the world’s most successful emerging economies.

The COVID-19 pandemic gave Vietnam an opportunity to become a preferred destination for investment as large economies seek to diversify their supply chains, Morisset said, adding that he believes Vietnam is already in the sight of many investors.
