(VOVWORLD) - Leaders worldwide have sent congratulatory letters and messages to Vietnamese leaders on Vietnam’s 73rd anniversary of National Day on September 2nd.
In their congratulatory messages, Chinese leaders praised Vietnam’s achievements over the past years. They said China attaches great importance to improving ties with Vietnam, adding that China is always ready to advance the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic partnership stably and sustainably.
Laotian leaders expressed their delights at progressing ties between the two governments, Parties, and peoples. They expressed their gratitude to Vietnam’s timely support to help Laos overcome the flooding consequences in Attapeu province. They pledged their best efforts to nurture and develop the Vietnam-Laos relationship in the time to come.
Cambodian leaders congratulated Vietnam on its many achievements over the past 73 years. They hailed the fine development of traditional bilateral ties between the governments, Parties, and peoples of Laos and Vietnam. They voiced their hope that Vietnam will reap more achievements in its national construction and development.
On this occasion, President of the Cuban Council of State and Council of Ministers Miguel Diaz Canel Bermudez sent congratulatory messages to President Tran Dai Quang and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. He pledged his determination to further consolidate Cuba’s historic relations and cooperation with Vietnam.
Russian leaders highly praised Moscow’s traditional ties with Hanoi, saying that the Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership has progressed significantly and gained many achievements. They believed Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong’s upcoming visit to Russia will help boost bilateral ties for mutual interests and enhance bilateral coordination on regional and international issues of mutual concerns.
Singaporean President Halimah Yacob and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong sent congratulatory messages to President Tran Dai Quang and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. The two leaders voiced their hope for closer cooperation with Vietnma to lift bilateral ties to new high in the coming time.
Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on this occasion in which he underscored the Thai government’s determination to foster bilateral ties with Vietnam for the two countries’ benefits and prosperity.
