Pharmacist Le Thanh Son of the city’s Hospital for Tropical Diseases was honored for a system he created to detect medicine interaction risks.

Son said, “I hope my initiative will help the hospital manage prescriptions. The system checks prescriptions at two levels. First, when a doctor writes out a prescription, and second, when the doctor cannot resolve the medicine interaction, a pharmacist will join in.”
