(VOVworld) – 19 outstanding organizations were awarded certificates of merit for excelling in Youth Union affairs and adolescents’ campaigns last year. At a ceremony held by the Hanoi Youth Union and the Hanoi Students’ Association, 40 secretaries of local youth unions and 10 outstanding young individuals were honored. The Hanoi Students’ Association granted the title “Students of the new era” to 67 individuals for their excellent academic results and contributions to Association activities.

Nguyen Thi Nga, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, says: “The Executive Committee of the Hanoi Youth Union urges local units to actively implement the Youth Union Congress’s resolution and the action plans. It’s essential to obtain breakthroughs in improving the quality of Youth Union activities, in exhibiting good behavior and in abiding by the law. We expect to have many more model young people and strong Youth Union units, contributing to national construction.”
