(VOVworld) - The Youth Union and Ha Giang Provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony on Saturday to commemorate heroic martyrs in Vi Xuyen Martyr Cemetery. The event aimed to recall sacrifices of the predecessors in the struggle for national liberation, construction and defense. They launched various humanitarian programs to cater for heroic mothers and families of martyrs. First Secretary of the Youth Union, Nguyen Dac Vinh said: “In respect of our predecessors’ sacrifice for national independence and freedom, young people are committed to striving for national development on par with the world community as President Ho Chi Minh expected.”
