At the event which will run through next Tuesday, participants will identify potential short and long-term solutions addressing environmental challenges in Vietnam’s coastal regions, and other marine/freshwater environments in Southeast Asia.

The workshop will also provide an opportunity to learn about the US-ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and develop skills in leadership, project management, entrepreneurship, and digital communication.

First held in 2013, the YSEALI is a US Department of State flagship program designed to advance regional strategic goals by providing the young generation with networking, mentoring, hands-on training, and the tools necessary to lead communities in economic, environmental, educational, and civic engagement issues.
