(VOVWORLD) - The Tay Ninh provincial People’s Court would like to inform Mr. Tan Swee Keat of the divorce case with Ms. Tran Thi Kim Thoa.
Malaysian citizen Tan Swee Keat was born in 1970. His last known address is 9-09 Blok C Kondo Magnaville Selayang, Kepong, 68100, Batu Cave, Malaysia.
On April 11, 2025, the Tay Ninh provincial People’s Court held a first-instance trial for the divorce case filed by Ms. Tran Thi Kim Thoa who was born in 1990 and currently resides at Group 11, Giua hamlet, Hiep Thanh commune, Go Dau district, Tay Ninh province.
In the Decree of Divorce No. 28/2025/HNGĐ-ST, dated April 11, 2025, the court’s judgments were stated as followed:
1. It is ordered and decreed by the Court that Ms. Tran Thi Kim Thoa and Mr. Tan Swee Keat are divorced and that the marriage between them is dissolved.
2. Children and shared assets: There was no request for settlement.
3. The involved parties have the right to appeal the judgment to the High People's Court in Ho Chi Minh.
- Ms. Tran Thi Kim Thoa has the right to file an appeal within 15 days from the date of receiving the judgment or from the date the judgment is public posted.
- Mr. Tan Swee Keat has the right to appeal within one month from the date of the judgment or from the date the judgment is officially posted in accordance with the Vietnamese Civil Procedure Code.
The Tay Ninh provincial People’s Court has also ruled on judicial entrustment fees and court fees in accordance with the law.
Note: If the defendant wishes to appeal, his petition must be sent to the Tay Ninh provincial People’s Court at No. 80 Tran Phu Street, Ninh Trung Quarter, Ninh Son Ward, Tay Ninh City, Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam.
