The event held at Loc Hoa Secondary School in Vinh Long province commemorates International Day of the Girl Child (October 11), with a panel discussion between inspiring female role models in education, sports, and science.

It also featured exhibitions, interactive games, and a poster competition, offering students a chance to express their views on the role of girls and fellow students in shaping everyone’s futures. They also encouraged engagement across fine arts, literature, and other creative experiences.

In addition, “Girls' Vision for the Future” celebrates the voices and contributions of teachers in advancing policies and fostering a more inclusive educational environment for all learners, including girls, on the occasion of World Teachers' Day (October 5), and the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (1995-2025).

Students also took part in the “Beijing+30 Bus Tour” organized by UN Women, which celebrated Vietnam’s achievements in promoting gender equality since the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action 30 years ago. This landmark document, ratified by 189 countries, including Vietnam, is the most comprehensive and transformative global agenda for achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls.
