(VOVworld) – Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Ngo Anh Dung has reiterated that Vietnam pledges to be a loyal neighbor to Cambodia, with which is always ready to share both happiness and sorrows while fighting for mutual prosperity. His statement came at a ceremony held in Phnompenh on Sunday to mark the 45^th anniversary of diplomatic ties of Vietnam and Cambodia.

Heng Somrin, the honorable president of Cambodia’s People Party and Chairman of Cambodian Parliament, said: "Vietnam’s support for us is vivid evidence of Vietnam’s sincerity for Cambodian people and government. We appreciate Vietnam’s contributions to the Cambodian peace process, political stabilization, national reconciliation and economic reconstruction after many decades of war."
The ceremony took place just one day after Vietnam and Cambodia officially inaugurated the Border Landmark No 314 between Vietnam’s Kien Giang province and Cambodian Kampot province under the presence of Prime Ministers of both countries.
