(VOVworld) – Various activities took place to mark Vietnam Family Day 2015. On Saturday, the Viet Nam Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism held cultural and art programs under the theme “The Central Highlands culture with matriarchy family tradition.” Various activities including river wharf worshipping festival, a ceremony to pray for peace in the family, exhibitions on matriarchy family and sculpture of the Central Highland were held.

Exhibition on Vietnam Family.

On the same day, nearly 100 photos on Vietnam Family were on display at a photo exhibition held at the Vietnam Culture and Arts Exhibition Center. The exhibition aims to highlight the value of the family and encourage people to follow cultural tradition of Vietnamese family. Ms. Ta Kim Oanh from Ba Dinh district, Hanoi is a visitor: “I am impressed the most at the photos featuring affection that women and children in the mainland have for soldiers in Truong Sa archipelago. There are also photos on extended families with grandparents, parents and children and they live very happily”.  

There was also display of Vietnamese records with family messages.
