(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has called on Da Nang to become a rich, beautiful, modern, and peaceful city, an international trade hub, and an attractive investment destination.
Addressing a ceremony to mark Da Nang’s 20th founding anniversary on Saturday, the Prime Minister said after 2 decades, the city under central administration has been elevated to a higher position and should foster creative ideas and start-ups to provide momentum for further growth.
Congratulating Da Nang for being chosen as the main venue of APEC Year 2017, Mr. Phuc asked for stronger coordination with relevant agencies and localities to make this international event a success.Da Nang grew 10% annually over the past 10 years. In 2016, the city welcomed 5.5 million tourists.
