Exhibition of national achievements opens

(VOVWORLD) - An exhibition of national achievements “80-Year Journey of Independence-Freedom-Happiness” opened Thursday morning in Hanoi to celebrate the 80th anniversary of August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2). Party General Secretary To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the ceremony.

The exhibition, the largest ever held, highlights eight decades of achievements of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and 110 enterprises with more than 230 booths.
In his opening remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said: “The exhibition is also a "living school", with a harmonious combination of tradition and modernity, making history more accessible, so that today's generations can better understand their origins, the great sacrifices and achievements of previous generations. This will add motivation, inspiration, and nurture the aspiration to steer the country steadily into a new era, the era of rising to wealth, civilization, and prosperity, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.”

Artifacts, images, documents are presented by modern technologies – 3D, virtual reality, multimedia audiovisual, and artificial intelligence. Special thematic zones are showcasing revolutionary paths, core values, and great achievements in the heroic history of national construction and defense.

“This exhibition is not only about the achievements, but also a vivid demonstration of the great potential of the cultural, entertainment industry and the fabulous creativity of the Vietnamese people. It’s about the harmonious and effective combination of political, economic, traditional cultural, and historical content with modern and attractive expression. All these affirm the value of Vietnamese culture and the potential for commercialization of Vietnamese creative products, contributing to the country's rapid and sustainable development,” Prime Minister Chinh said.

The Voice of Vietnam’s booth themed “80 Years of Voice of Vietnam Side by Side the Nation”, spans 500 square meters and is divided into four sections: “Speaking with the Nation”, “Today and Tomorrow”, “Echoes of History”, and “VOV and the Public”.
The exhibition is open free of charge until September 5, 2025, at the National Exposition Center (VEC), Dong Anh, Hanoi.
