Politburo member and standing member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Dinh The Huynh told participants of a ceremony in Hanoi on Friday mark the 85th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union: “The Communist Youth Union should encourage its members to follow their dreams, pursue their careers, master modern science and technology. It should widespread voluntary programs and inspire the youth’s creativity in national construction and defense. I call on young people to get involved in the development of remote areas which can prove their enthusiasm and creativity.”

At the ceremony, the Ly Tu Trong Award was presented to 85 outstanding Union members in honor of their achievements in study, work, and youth movements.
