(VOVWORLD) - The digital economy is becoming ever more important to the global economy, said Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam at the Vietnam ICT Investment Forum that opened on Wednesday in Hanoi.
The Deputy PM affirmed that digital economy innovation is a leading factor in accelerating the growth and development of a nation, providing a platform to increase productivity across economy as well as offering innovation opportunities for entrepreneurs. Mr. Dam said: “ICT has confirmed its fundamental role in all sectors e. In Vietnam, ICT is available in almost all aspects of life. The government has asked the Ministry of Information and Communications to review laws to create the best conditions for investors in ICT.”
