On this occasion, the organizing board presented 76 gifts to war invalids and social beneficiaries. Addressing the event, Minister of National Defense General Phan Van Giang said the Vietnamese Party, State, the whole political system and society pay special attention to the work of paying gratitude and improving the life of war invalids and social beneficiaries.

"It’s important to strengthen coordination between sectors and localities to expand the work of paying gratitude and help social policy beneficiaries, and promote education of tradition to make the younger generation better aware of the great contribution of war martyrs and national devotees. Agencies and localities need to work closely with the youth union to effectively implement the Party and State policies for revolutionary contributors," said General Giang.
