(VOVworld) – The Spring Press festival, which is ongoing in Bac Lieu city, introduces the national and provincial achievements last year and prospects for this year. The festival features 300 newspapers and magazines.

The Spring Flower festival has opened in Da Lat city, promoting local flower brands and horticulture. There are also performance of gongs, portrait drawing, and parallel sentence writing. The festival will run until February 8.

Long An province opened a flower walkway themed: “Congratulating the Party, the spring, the country, and the homeland of renewal.” The 500m flower path showcases the province’s characteristics. 

Hanoians and visitors will be treated to a variety of colorful entertaining programs during the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday (Tet). On Friday, there will be 6 special art and sport shows  on  New Year’s eve at Ly Thai To monument, August revolution square, Tay Ho district center, My Dinh stadium square, Ha Dong district center, and Son Tay township. To Van Dong, Director of Hanoi’s Department of Culture and Sports, said: “We will organize many activities for Tet celebrations, such as outdoor performances and film screening in 30 districts and wards. There are community-based art and sport events for everybody to join in.”

This year, instead of real fireworks display, there will be the 5-minute screening of fireworks on LED panels near the performance sites.
