There will be eight award categories, of which five are for technology products for the digital transformation process and digital economic development, covering areas such as industry and construction; agriculture, natural resources, and the environment; transportation and post and logistics; education, health, culture, and society; finance, banking, trade, and services.

There are two categories of outstanding digital technologies for foreign markets and potential digital technology products.

Of note, this year's award has added the category of emerging digital technologies in a bid to seek outstanding products in AI, big data, Internet of Things (IoT), and semiconductors.

Addressing the press conference, Nguyen Thanh Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Information Technology and Communications Industry, Ministry of Information and Communications, said, “The category ‘New digital technology products’ aims to honor the products using new digital technologies such as AI, blockchain, IoT, or semiconductors. This category is similar to other world awards.”

Enterprises are required to submit their application for the award from August 22 to October 22 through the portal https://giaithuong.makeinvietnam.mic.gov.vn.  The award ceremony is expected to be held this December within the framework of the National Forum on Developing Vietnamese Digital Technology Enterprises.

After four years of organization, hundreds of digital technology products have been awarded, benefiting people and businesses in digital transformation.
