(VOVworld)- the Chairman of the National Assembly’s Financial and Budget Committee Phung Quoc Hien has led a delegation to Vinh Phuc province to monitor the progress of the Noi Bai- Lao Cai Highway Project. The 264 km long Highway linking Noi Bai to Lao Cai passes through 5 provinces: Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai and Lao Cai. With a total investment capital of more than 1.2 trillion USD, it’s one of the country’s key projects to develop economic channels between Vietnam and China. Once completed, the project will help to boost the economic potential of localities in the region as well as contribute to the country’s overall economic growth.
