(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly passed a resolution on socio-economic development in 2021 at its plenary meeting on Wednesday.

Under the resolution, in 2021 Vietnam will focus on the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, economic recovery and development, macro-economic stability, controlling inflation, economic restructuring, growth model refinements, improving productivity and product quality, greater competitiveness in the world market, and developing a stronger domestic market.
Targets set for next year include: 6% GDP growth, 3,700 USD of GDP per capita, 4% increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), and 1.5% poverty reduction.
