National Day celebrated in Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - An art program celebrating Vietnam’s National Day was held in Ho Chi Minh city on Saturday night with the attendance of the Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan.

The program featured the August Revolution and national construction and defense.  City dwellers also enjoyed a 15-minute beautiful firework display in Dam Sen park.

On Saturday, Radio the Voice of Vietnam hosted a program attended by VOV Vice President Vu Hai and senior leaders of other agencies. The audience was treated to everlasting songs such as August 19, Smashing Fascism, and Historical Ba Dinh Square, which recreated the people’s pride and joy when Vietnam gained independence 72 years ago.

In Dien Bien province, local Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism held a program, highlighting Vietnam’s achievements during national construction and development.

Da Nang city has become an attractive destination for visitors to experience new boat tours, floating market sessions, and an exhibition of ancient artifacts.
