People flock to pagodas, temples during Tet
(VOVWORLD) - Thousands of people visited pagodas and temples around Vietnam during the first three days of Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday.

King Quang Trung’s Temple and Prince Hoang Muoi's Temple are popular destinations in Nghe An province. Nguyen Thi Tam, an overseas Vietnamese in Ukraine, said: “I and other overseas Vietnamese always embrace the Vietnamese custom of visiting pagodas and temples during Tet holiday to pray for peace and a lucky year.”
National relics in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue such as Ly Tu Trong Park and the Monument of War Martyrs also welcomed thousands of visitors. Duong Thu Ha from Thanh Hoa province said: “This is the first time I’ve been to Hue and I love the atmosphere and beautiful sights here. I see many foreign visitors. I think I’m very lucky to visit Hue during Tet holiday.”
Over 2,000 tourists visited Ly Son island in Quang Ngai province, during the first three days of the Lunar New Year.
