(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s speech at the just ended 10th Party plenum has caught Vietnamese people’s attention. Doctor Nguyen Van Hao of the Academy of Politics, region 3, in Da Nang city, comments on the draft documents to be submitted to the upcoming 12th National Party Congress: “The draft documents should focus on economic development, Party building and clarifying and improving the authority and responsibility of agency heads. They should also concentrate on national defense, security, national independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.”
Nguyen Van Trung of Ho Chi Minh city says: “I’m personally interested in Party building because there remain Party members who are morally degraded. Consequently Party building is vital to strengthen people’s trust in the Party, create social consensus, and prevent subversive schemes by foreign forces, helping Vietnam to maintain stability and develop the economy.”
Vietnamese people are also interested in streamlining jobs in state agencies with a particular focus on attracting competent employees and the project on press management and development until 2025.
