(VOVworld)- A conference to review the 15-year implementation of the Party resolution on building an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity opened in Hanoi on Wednesday. Over the past 15 years, efforts have been made to improve Vietnamese people’s morality and lifestyle, build a cultural environment and unite people. Vietnamese cultural values have been promoted and preserved. 3,000 sites have been listed as national relics, of which 7 are recognized by UNESCO as world cultural, natural heritage sites. The lives of ethnic minority people have been improved and the religious life has been stabilized. Remarkable achievements have been reported in education, science, technology, and information systems. The Party resolution aims to further promote an advanced Vietnamese culture embracing national identity, considering it a key factor in developing the Vietnamese people.
