The 2-day event will honor traditional culture, strengthen solidarity among Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups, and create the  Lunar New Year, Tet, atmosphere.

Attracting 200 ethnic people from 25 Vietnamese ethnic groups in 17 provinces nationwide, the festival will feature lively festivities, art performances, and distinctive folk games, as well as traditional dishes of the ethnic groups.

A ritual will be organized to reproduce the Aza-koonh festival of Ta Oi ethnic people in Thua Thien Hue together with the planting of trees at the Ta Oi ethnic village.

At the Dao ethnic village, a ritual to welcome in Tet will also be held on the second day of the festival.
