(VOVworld) – Tet goods and gifts have been prepared for delivery to Truong Sa island district in Khanh Hoa province.

To ensure a cozy and sufficient Tet for soldiers on Truong Sa islands, the Ministry of National Defense and Khanh Hoa province will provide them with financial support and Tet gifts. Major Nguyen Van Thinh, head of the Communication and Education Department of Brigade 146, said essential goods including sticky rice, confectionary, and pigs have been loaded to ships, which will soon be headed to Truong Sa. He said: “We have made thorough preparations to give soldiers on Truong Sa island a Tet similar to that on the mainland. Party and state leaders and representatives of media agencies will be present to extend new-year wishes to the soldiers and their families.”
