(VOVworld) – Experts said Vietnam’s digital sector has focused more on communications and entertainment rather than education and e-commerce.
At a seminar held by the Vietnam Internet Association in Hanoi on Wednesday, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, Nguyen Thanh Hung, said IT application in all economic areas has created an efficient digital economy without boundaries and led to higher profits.
A digital economy will generate more opportunities to turn the digital industry into a spearhead sector: “In order to promote Vietnam’s advantages, network providers have to change their thinking, improve infrastructure, and create more conditions for digital enterprises to develop.”
