(VOVWORLD) - About 400 people with autism and 600 others have participated in various activities on the 3rd Vietnam Autism Awareness Day (VAAD3), which opened on Saturday in Bac Ninh province.

During the two-day event, people with autism participated in various sports activities such as therapy games, swimming, running, and jumping competitions. At a workshop on interventions to help people with autism, participants discussed difficulties facing families having people with autism, and suggested measures to take care of these disadvantaged people, and help them better integrate into the community.
