Representatives of the Ministry of Transport attributed the gain to improvements in “Logistics Competence” (up 29 places) and “Tracking and Tracing” (up 41 places).

Nguyen Van Cong, Deputy Minister of Transport, said over the years the sector has steadily improved service quality and connectivity to reduce transportation costs.

Mr. Cong said: “We have created favorable conditions for businesses to invest in modern equipment and develop links between modes of transportation, exporters, producers, and logistic firms to reduce transportation costs. The advantages of multi-mode transportation routes should be exploited.”
