At the 2017 Vietnam Poetry Day

Themed “Literature accompanying the nation”, the event will begin next Tuesday with a workshop featuring Vietnam’s current poetic issues, followed by Wednesday’s seminar on fiction reform in response to the 2017-2020 novel contest launched by the Vietnam Writers Association.

Poetry contests and art performances will take place on Thursday at the Temple of Literature.

This year is the first time the Hanoi Writers Association and Vietnam Writers Association will jointly organize a venue for all poetry lovers and a special corner for young people.

4 Japanese poets are expected to participate in the event to exchange with Vietnamese poetry lovers.
