Speaking at the event, deputy head of PCC Economic Commission Bui Van Thach attributed this to the recovery of many of Vietnam’s partner economies. He cited the high growth of the world’s leading economies such as China and the US. Thach added that the Eurozone is also recovering from its public debt crisis and maintaining a growth rate of around 1%. Meanwhile, foreign direct investment policies are forecast to increase significantly in 2014, with many big economies like the US and Japan focusing more on Southeast Asian markets.
