(VOVworld)- More than 100 outstanding young people have joined the  “Youth journey for national sea and islands” launched by the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union and the Naval Arm in Cat Lai port, Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday.

During the journey, they will organize communication activities to inspire patriotism and highlight the responsibility of defending national sovereignty among the youth. The participants will learn to become sailors and offer incense to pay tribute to sailors. They will also visit Truong Sa islands and the DK1 Platform, presents gifts and hold cultural and sports exchanges with Truong Sa soldiers and islanders.
