Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau speaks at the conference

Party Secretary, Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau, who attended at the Congress, presented a report on the outcome of the Congress, main content of the Congress’ documents, and directions to realize the Congress’ Resolution. Chau said the indexes of happiness and people’s benefits are set out as an important goal of the Party and State and that the Congress inspired national aspiration and determination to build up national internal strength. The Congress set a longer and wider vision to raise Vietnam’s status by 2025, 2030, and 2045. These goals are developed on basis of Vietnam’s achievements after 35 years of national renewal, said Chau.

Chau said the Congress' documents emphasized the safeguarding of national interests in line with international law and the task of making Vietnam’s diplomacy comprehensive and modern on a par with the country’s raising status.
