Bonding activities in southwestern islands
(VOVWORLD) - Soldiers of the Naval Region 5 have communicated legal documents for 1,000 local people in Vietnam's southwestern islands and provided free medical examination and medicine to 250 people.

As part of activities recently held by the Naval Region 5, national flags, lifebuoys, and fresh water were provided to local fishermen.
On this occasion, the soldiers also presented documents and letters from Kien Giang and Ca Mau province’s People’s Committee calling on fishermen to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
