During their stay in Yeosu city, the Vietnamese delegation paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of the Korean Coast Guard Academy and had exchange activities at the Academy.

They were engaged in joint search and rescue training at sea with the Korean Coast Guard, played friendly sport games and visited cultural sites.

The trip contributed to boosting friendship, mutual understanding and trust, and cooperation between the two coast guard forces. It provided an opportunity to improve capabilities and learn from experience in sea-related law enforcement.
