(VOVWORLD) - Improving fishermen’s awareness of the security and safety of undersea gas pipelines was discussed at a conference cohosted by the border guard force in the central province of Phu Yen and the Nam Con Sơn gas pipeline company this week.

100 captains and owners of offshore fishing vessels were introduced to regulations on the national oil and gas safety corridor in relation to fishing activities.
A Nam Con Son company representative said that ensuring the safety and security of undersea pipelines is a big challenge, requiring the attention of fishermen.
