In past three years the project has raised public awareness of law enforcement at sea by publishing thousands of books and other documents on Vietnam Coast Guard Law. An online contest on the Law attracted five million entries.

Major General Bui Quoc Oai, the Political Commissar of the Vietnam Coast Guard, said: "We can really see the people's concern, sharing, and love for Vietnam Coast Guard officers and soldiers in the cause of managing and protecting the country's sovereignty over seas and islands by law. The success of the contest has increased the pride of Coast Guard officers and soldiers and their sense of responsibility in performing their assigned duties. This boosts their morale to protect the nation's sea and island sovereignty.”
