(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Fatherland Front received donations worth 200,000 USD from the Vietnam Garments and Textiles Groups and Hoa Binh provincial Fatherland Front on Friday.

President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan acknowledged contributions from individuals and organizations as invaluable gifts to share the burden with and encourage the fishermen, fisheries resources surveillance, and marine police forces. Mr. Nhan said in addition to material gifts, individuals and organizations should increase production to reinforce national strength.
State employees and workers in Dong Thap province donated 100,000 USD to the fund for National Sacred Sovereignty. Do Thanh Tung in Cao Lanh city contributed 2,500 USD from his personal savings to help fishermen in offshore fishing.
Lang Son Museum held an exhibition entitled “Vietnam’s sea and islands sovereignty” displaying many historical documents, photos, and items relating to Vietnam’s sea and islands.
