Activities include a national workshop on institutions, planning, and opportunities for blue marine economic development, a workshop on application of AI in marine environmental culture and marine tourism development, and an exhibition of Quang Binh marine products.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Le Minh Ngan said: “Vietnam is a maritime nation. We deeply understand that if we do not protect the sea today, we will no longer have a foundation for development tomorrow. This year's Vietnam Sea and Islands Week is an opportunity for every Vietnamese person to express their love for the sea and the Fatherland through practical actions, commitments and responsibilities.”

The Organizing Committee will commend and reward organizations and individuals for their excellence in communicating the protection of marine resources and the environment.
